What is xr2learn?

A groundbreaking project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Programme, XR2Learn aims to establish cross-border creation of human-centric XR applications in education.


XR2Learn European Union

The project will deliver its one-stop-shop platform, organized as a Digital Innovation Hub, for all actors involved in the XR-based educational applications supply chain, aimed at enhancing training in manufacturing and distance learning scenarios.

By leveraging the European XR industry technologies to empower immersive learning and training, the XR2Learn platform will bring XR technology providers, application designers, education experts, application developers, end-users and decision-makers in direct access to communicate, collaborate and matchmake interests enabling also bottom-up innovation creation.

What is evr-osh-5?

Unleash the power of EVR-OSH-5, a cutting-edge initiative focused on developing VR applications that assess employees’ knowledge and readiness in handling workplace hazards.


The primary objective is to develop VR applications that evaluate the knowledge and preparedness of employees when it comes to working hazards. Central to this objective is the concept of instructor-led evaluations, facilitated by professionals such as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) managers. These evaluations, akin to examinations, serve as a means to assess the competency of workers in adhering to safety protocols and effectively managing risks at work.

Application 1

Emotion-dependent/stress-driven safety training VR application for work at height. The goal of the single-user app is to help the user practise the correct and fast use of protection equipment in safe conditions.

VR application for Industry 5.0 robot system maintenance that enables collaborative problem-solving with multiple users in a shared virtual space that can be followed simultaneously by an external observer (instructor). The goal is to practise troubleshooting and maintenance.
