The biggest challenge for humanity in the coming decades will be global climate change. The most effective way to deal with this is for local communities to develop and be able to implement climate adaptation procedures. It is important that local communities and cities, in cooperation with companies and industrial zones, create these procedures, which can be adapted in areas with similar capabilities.
LIFE is a program in support of the European Union's environmental policy, which encourages environmental development through active cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Within the framework of the LIFE-CLIMCOOP project, the Municipality of Kazincbarcika and BorsodChem Zrt. established an exemplary cooperation in order to reduce the effects of climate change. The project focuses primarily on the responsible renewal of water management, in which they also seek to involve the population through various attitude-forming solutions. The aim of the project is also to be able to apply the model developed by it in places with similar natural endowments, even abroad.
Our task was to present this complex process, the details, participants and goals of the collaboration in an animated short film. The goal is to film the dry data in a colorful, informative and understandable way.
